help, shift ****
Hey
Yea so I am pretty dumb, I am just starting to learn about everything on cars.
I bought a shift **** the other day, as a souvenir. So I got back and was like, eah.. what the heck, ill put it on my Camaro. Soo i ripped off the shifting **** on my Camaro, and noticed there was a big uh.. I cant think of the name of it right now.. ill call it a screw. So I ripped my camaro shift **** off and noticed there was a BIG screw and in the shifting **** i purchased has a small hole for lack of a better word. So am I missing something here or doing something wrong? If its just a different type, is there any conversion things or anything? Is it just totally incompatible ??
I feel sooo dumb right now
o well, u live, u learn i guess. hahah
THANKS

Re: help, shift ****
haha well you should have unscrewed the original shift ****. sounds to me like the new shift **** is just not compatible. i've never seen an adapter or anything of the sort. but yeah you live and you learn, just make sure to remember all those little life lessons.

Re: help, shift ****
You can drill the shift **** to the correct spec of the shifter shaft. And then tap the **** in order to screw it on.
