good/decent collision/body shops near hartford ct
last night my girlfriend got rear-ended in hartford and i am wondering if anyone has any bodyshops to reccomend or any cautionary tales about some of the bodyshops. there are a bunch of big shops near us, but i just want to try to avoid a nightmare bodyshop. i would also be more comfortable going somewhere that i know is a good place.
thanks for the help

thompson ct is actually over an hour away from me. i go there to thompson speedway for the racing. we would consider it if it was a really good deal but we have to deal with the insurance company first.
thanks for the help tho

Try Continental Auto Body in Portland, CT - right on 66 just over the bridge from Middletown.
Tell them Dave with the 88 Formula sent you.
They prepped and painted my spoiler for my Formula 350 and, despite the 20 year old original paint on the car (20k car), you cannot tell they were painted separately.
They also did a collision job on my 03 explorer and they were big lobbyists on my behalf with the insurance guys and did a bang up job.
They're affiliated/attached to an exotic/muscle car shop. They do Ferrari and other exotic restorations so they don't fudge things. Plus you can browse the exotics while you're waiting for the estimate!!
