a friend of mine has old beater pontiac (not an f body) that hes looking to get painted. just trying to help him out and get some info for him..this doesnt have to be a showroom shine job by any means, but something decent. its his daily driver, and is currently white, he wants to go to black. body overall is is good shape for a 30 year old car, but has a few small soft dents need to be taken out and minor rust on reat quarter panels (very minor) to be fixed.

anyone know any worthy shops to look into in the nothern NJ area? (im about 15 min from nyc in bergen county). thanxx in advance.

 

most places will do fine for waht you/he is loking for

spraying the paint is the "easier" part

the prep work is where all the hard work is. if he wants a show quality job i can give u the name of the place that i went to

otherwise, most palces will do just fine. search the phone books, talk to painters, tell him waht u want/expect. if they say no, or act frusterated .. move on to another place.

 

i hear ya...can u give me the info on the place you went to? i figure it cant hurt to go check it out and see what they say... you have a contact name there?
