Unfortunately, it's been around forever and nothing'shappening with it. The old Connecticut Dragway will never be used as a dragstrip open to the public again. I grew up a mile from it.

paul84Z, that petitition I believe has been around for a LONG time. We've all signed it in the hopes it will bring a 1/4 track back to CT. One of the more popular drag tracks is now owned by Road&Track and they do all / most of their vehicle testing there for their mag writeups.
On another note, check out HDRA (hole shot drag racing). This is a sanctioned body now that actually starts this month again in CT. Basically 100ft drag racing. The events will be 2x a month at the Waterford SpeedBowl.
