Hello

Hey, figured i'd post a greetings here, sorta new to the forums dont remember when i joined it, just tried my user name an it worked. Been a owner for years just never really posted on forums. I was on Godragracing for a long time but got out of the whole forum scene after my camaro died about 5 years, so just recently started to pick up some tools again to play with it figured i'd finally post on the forums i could remember haha speaking of if any one could tell me any other forums that would be nice. Anyway I drove a 1984 Camaro Coupe basic body style with a 305. That motor hung around for about 6 months before dropping in a 350 crate motor from GMPP, soon after came a built Turbo 350 with a 3200 stall an a Ram air hood. Thats when the need for more power kicked in an my brother an his friend intalled a Comp Cam kit an 4.11 gears with a rear out of a 02 WS6.

The car sat like this as followed

Soon after the car died after jumping on it one day heading to work snapping the carb bolt an eating it which the piston did not like. Now 5 years later an a good amount of cash an favors we decided to start bringin it back to life as a drag car.

A.E. Tech a local engine shop talked me away from what i wanted a 383 stroker with spray into a monster drag motor 434 with lots of spray.

Which was followed by the Uhh your gonna need a tranny, thankfully favors pulled by my brother we got a fully built TH 400 with needed drag goodies.

Since then I've been collecting parts over the years when i had cash being the car died out of no where i had to buy a junker which led to me buying a 350z since i wanted something RWD an fun to cruise around in. Then recently i started to buy a bunch of stuff getting the urge to build it finally after taking a spin in a local friends supercharged 3rd gen.

Lemons Custom Long Tube headers

6" Fiber Glass hood to fit the new motor

An a bunch of other stuff i didnt take pictures of - Heavy Duty Light Weight Driveshaft, Transmision mount with Driveshaft loop an Manual Steering Rack.

We also decided to start stripping down the car to remove un-needed weight an make room for the soon to be 12point cage.

Thankfully after sitting for so long the body is still in great shape with no major rust spots, the fenders an doors are both being replaced by fiberglass fenders an spare stock doors a friend has in great shape. Hoping to finally get the car out of the shop around july after a big order place to spohn soon just saving up a few more bucks before the buy. Anyway thanks for letting me rant.
