North Jersey no start help

North Jersey no start help

ok so i was driving my iroc awhile ago and it overheated and shut off when it cooled down i tried to start it but it wont start the motor turns over it has spark ive got 43 psi at the fuel rail but no start not even an attempt also there is no coolant in the oil


i am posting this cause i have strained myself to all ends and cannot figure out why it wont start i would be open to paying someone to come by and help me solve this i am in north jersey right next to william paterson university

sounds like injectors are not firing to me..I think there is a fuse by the battery for them..

would that fuse blow if the car over heated i never thought about that

i am not sure if overheating would cause that fuse to blow...However it could be a fluke type of thing..Either way worth a look thats for sure...Seems if you have spark and proper fuel pressure like u do, injectors are not firing..Also did u check for codes..You should have done that first sorry i did not recommend that..Ecm fuse would also be something good to check

Not sure if the light would come on with a blown fuse for the injectors or not..Im new at these f body setups but am trying to learn them ..Does your car have the vats system..If so does the light come on and then go off ? Vats i beleive cuts the injectors out when it is not working properly..

check the control module, when mine went bad the car would run for a while then shut off when it got hot. check the rest of the distributor as well
