Mechanics in OH?
Mechanics in OH?
I need a recomendation for a good mechanic near Dayton Ohio. A family member has a 2000 TA that needs 1 headlight rebuilt (the other one is already done).
Sorry if this is in the wrong board.

Are you talking about the headlight motor? They are pretty simple to pull apart and fix.

Well the thing is its a family members car. I have replaced headlight assemblys before but this one has one of the motors has been completely redone. You can only tell they are different from the outside.. the person who owned this car before was a big guru and I'm pretty sure he did it himself and I just want to find someone who can match his work.. I have pictures but I am not sure if they would help?..

You don't need a pro just to rebuild a headlight motor, it's super simple. Show pics of what you are worried about.

To be honest, the hardest part is just getting the motor out and away from the headlight assembly. After that it's really easy to take apart and replace whatever is broke on the inside.
