Good Evening All! I have been reading from the site for a few years since I bought my first Firebird in 2005, but I never registered as a member. I recently purchased a Trans Am GTA and came back on looking for some info and made the decision to finally become a member. I'm from Torrington, CT and just wanted to say hi and share some pictures of my new GTA.

Some info on the car. It is a 1987 Trans Am GTA in Flame Red with camel interior. It has the L98 and 700R4 and 137000 miles. It has crank windows, manual locks, power mirrors and power hatch. That is the original paint and it is stock except for the exhaust.

Only had it a couple of months but already love it!

I used to live in Wallingford and Tolland but would get a little work out your way once in a while.

Love the color. I have an 89 Formula 350 - same color.

 

Is the actual name of the color flame red? I actually just bought a 1988 Trans Am GTA this past week and it is the same color, I've been telling everybody it is burgundy.

 

This side of the state does have some great roads for riding. Plenty of back roads that are great for cruising. And I love the color too. I had originally wanted black, but when I saw this color I had to have it.

 

The actual name of the color is flame red metallic. Congratulations on your GTA buy as well!
