Sorry guys, I was showing the decals at the In&Out - I didn't even think about 'em once we got to the track.

I also owe somebody one for the run -- Eric I think ? 14.2 ? Anyone beat a 14.2 ?

Kairles -- looks good

Traviz was honest enough to take himself out of the contest. Since it was only between 'street legal' cars.

no cat, AIR, charcoal canister.

Yes, unfortunately, my "best" was just a 14.2.
I thought Eric ran a 14.3xx. no?

No worries.
I don't mind purchasing one for the time/effort given.
Would have liked to see one of those in the blue that was pictured though.

Haha, thanks Terrell.
What was your 60' Eric?

2.007 here.
I'll snag that 1.9 next month.
I could've had it with one more shot.

Obviously Eric should be around a 13.5-6 with that mph.
Looks like I'm not the only one that needs some practice.

Traction isn't going to magically appear, you need to learn how to launch that sucker.

Check out the SLP line lock. It's a kit and comes with everything you need to install on 87 and up f-bods. Installation was pretty easy, and the pre-bent lines and mount location make for a real pro lookin setup.

on my last run i didn't mash the brake enough and i creeped fwd.
had to back up. doh.
got me all flustered and i think i launched at like 12-1300 rpm's.
i'm sure a little bit higher and would've got under that 2.007.

I guess managing a 2.2 60' is okay for taking off at idle. I'll try better next time.

2.2 60' off idle -- same as I ran, twice. I know the car is faster than that, just need more practice launching.

Practice is definitely the key.
You were spinning those tires for daaaaaays in front of me.
I just cleaned mine off and rolled forward.
As they wear down I'll heat them up more.

Mine added a good 25 HP and 100 ft lbs or torque! Instant difference!

Seriously though, I wanted it on the car ASAFP so I haven't 'detailed' the installation. See ther bubbles there still? Sexy "Club"... I know.

I also got Alex to send me a second black one. I'm toying with the idea of putting the black one right behind and offset to the red one for a real 3-D effect not to mention representing the colors of the best college football team in the (Southern) land.

Yeah, the background is just so you can see how nice and sharp the edges are cut. the decal is cut from solid white vinyl.

Caddy - layering them, great idea ! It really would add a neat 'drop shadow' type of effects. I bet positioning's gonna be a bitch thou - I'd go so far as to say, go for it and if it doesnt work out I'll comp you another.

What a guy! Thanks Alex!

As soon as I get done with the honey-dews I'll be detailing my car and trying this out. If and when I ever move back east, I want to continue to sport the NorCal Third Gen logo.

Still looks pretty good to me. If the weather would clear I would wash my car.

It's been a while.

How about those damn gas prices? Sheesh!

OK gang... I finally added the other black vinyl to the red one for the shadow box effect. I think it turned out just swell.

Niiice -- great job. Definately a best-case scenario.

If you write up any instructions, tips or tricks you used to do that I'll be sure to add 'em to the site, and further orders.

Oh, nothing to it really. I lucked up in getting the two to line up correctly. That's the biggest trick.

Looks very nice. I want one too now, can't decide if I want a white or blue one though. Maybe I should just do what Cadillac did, white and blue would probably look sweet together on my car.
