Yeh, we each have what the other wants.
You want a 2.0 60' and I want a couple more mph's.
I'd say yours is easier to accomplish.

I need to find out if I'm running rich/lean and if there's any other flags I need to attend to before I head out next time.

hahahahahahhaha

I suck at shifting

..........................run1.....................run2.....................run3
reaction----------.222-----------------.378-----------------.205
60ft---------------2.307----------------2.206----------------2.391
1/8 e.t.-----------9.292----------------9.035----------------9.392
1/4 e.t-----------14.246---------------13.841--------------14.654
1/4 MPH---------102.316-------------101.366-------------98.338

run1- launch at about 2500rpm and boged a little 2-3 shift suck
run2- launch at about 2600-2800rpm less bog 2-3 shift suck but not as bad
run3- launch at a good 3000rpm spun+ wheel hop the hole 60ft 2-3 really suck was a smooth shift but went to 5th not 3rd then shifted back to 3rd

if I cant get a good launch and my 2-3 shift down I know I can get into the low 13 for sure

Terrell, so it sounds like you actually took the Vette out to the track. Times may not be that great, but at least you got some practice for next time.

I know I can cut half a second off my E.T. if I get the 2-3 shift down and if I get a good launch for some 2.0?? 60 ft I be knocking of the door of high 12's

but I don't really care I may take it out later this summer if I lucky mom will get some runs in Im sure she could click off some low 13's

Of course Traviz would put a 13.6 for himself and give steve a 13.61 (NA)

Well thats sux that it was still open everyone started saying that they werent going so i figured no one was and that the track was going to be closed. Glad to here that some of you still got to run. Here ill give some random predictions i guess

Me- 14.0 (w/ a good 60')
Terrell- 13.5 (get that 2-3 down)
Del- 13.9 (I have a feeling you werent WOT)
Will- 14.6 (w/ WOT)
Eric - 14.0 (w/ slicks)
Travis- 13.7 (N/A) 12.9 (shot)
Steve- 13.5 (That pony has got some)

Now for Del and Will i know you guys love to baby your baby's and i give you props to that considering it seems you guys have the least amount of problems out of all of us im just thinking that you guys do the same at the track also. If not then shame on me.

I'll stick w/ my predictions for the most part, have to take some minor mods into account for some folks.

Travis (spray) - 12.9, 13.7 w/out.
Eric - 13.7 w/ traction, 14.1 w/out.
Steve - 14.1
Will - 15's somewhere
Jon - 15's somewhere

I won't be out to a Wed. night for a few weeks till I'm settled at my new job and feel like asking for a day off.
So y'all have some fun and bring back some good times.

I think that the gears and tranny will help alot.Maybe you should get some lca's.I'm getting a new set of uppers and lowers and some bilstien blues for mine.Travis was running those #'s before he did the gears and tranny so I think he will be a bit quicker.

I agree, having a faster and firmer shifting tranny will help a lot, as will the new rear end gears and ratio. Even though my tranny is new, it's stock and shifts slow, it's just how the stock 700R4's shift. I have a shift kit to put in also, and I know it will help out my track times, you can feel the tranny lag in shifting, and you know that's eating up some time. I think Travis will do better, I have faith in you Travis.

I can't wait for my turbo In one of my magazines they stuck a 60mm turbo on a stock, I believe 91 mustang and it went 11.29,on a stock motor! They did a disassemble and clean on the block but put it back together with the same parts they took out.My new engine alone will easily be in the 12's and I can't even emagine what I will run with the turbo. One of the guys on a mustang forum just dynoed his twin turbo mustang and it layed down 1028 hp!I wouldn't even know what to do with that much.

How close are you to getting a turbo Steve, and the new engine? That is going to be sick, 1000+hp, next problem you will have is keep that power under control, but who cares, it would be fun to have that kind of power under your foot.

I'll be getting the 331,not 347 anymore and the turbo kit this summer.I won't put it in till this winter when the car is asleep though. No point in having my car down during the months that I can enjoy it right?I will have around 400-450 n/a and the turbo should add another 3-400,I'll be running lots of boost. One of the guys on the mustang forums has a video of him losing traction on the freeway really bad

This summer, thats quick and coming soon, congrats! Can't wait to see it when it's all done, and of course to see what she does at the track. I agree, install it in the winter when the car is down anyway. Have fun with it now while the weather is nice.

I like all cars and would love to have a bigger group of people at the meets. There aren't that many thirdgens around anymore so it's hard to stay thirdgen.

Axle/Gears: 3.73 locking diff.
I like the wheels and paint theme Steve, I think it will look awesome on your car.

I won't be able to make it out this Wednesday either. Too many job related things going on and I also want to do more to my car before running it. I at least want my shift kit installed for the tranny.

Sorry to hear about all of the issues Travis and Eric. Sounds like it will work out better in the end though, good luck.

John, let us know how you do at the track if you end up going.

I agree, pay with cash. Although I know it can be hard sometimes when jobs are not going good and your car needs to be fixed. I have been there before and it takes a while to catch up. Sounds like you guys will have things under control within a matter of months though.

Sounds like a good plan Eric. Are you going to sell the RS and TA once they are done? What's up with the county, owe them money?

yea its all messed up i had a doctors note and i missed court and they fined me with failure to appear and the judge wouldnt take it and i got in a fight with him so i had to pay $300 to the frickin county damn F*CKERs

i plan on just giving the girlfriend the rs back as a suprise even though its all paid off to the insurance and i have the title and stuff i just didnt have the heart to part it out seing how clean it was,

and i got a body guy who is going to fix it for 50 an hrr

as far as the ta goes i plan on sporting it around probably as a daily driver with a 305 tpi auto what it was...dont need 2 350's
