Did anyone else catch the small car show in Castro valley today?
There was a lot of beautiful cars there. Classics ranging from a 1927 model T to a 2005 t-bird. there was plenty of high performance Chevys there too. My favorite car there was a 1987
Z28 camaro. It had all the goodies that i hope to have on my 87Z28 some day. it has a 383 stroker engine, Baer brakes, Budnick 18 inch wheels, a killer paint job,(black, with what looked like endless clear coating) a monsterous stereo system(sony Xplode) lots of chrome in the engine bay, emmaculent underside, Borla exhaust. the owner said that it will be featured in next month's Chevy High Performance magazine(on the cover no less)
There was also a 1962 chevy "pro street" car there. that was a veerry close second favorite.

yea i didnt hear about a car show, musta been that small, bet some of my friends went tho, did u see a silver 02 z06, silver 04 cobra, 98 cobra with a roush body kit, a raised blazer?
Hey jon, nah i didn't see your friends cars. this show was at a church in castro valley (Redwood Christian Church) They give this show every year. i got invited to last year's show by a co-worker of mine who owns a pristine 1965 Barracuda. of course he invited me again this year. There were about 75 to 85 cars there. lots of old school classics. there were chevys, fords, mopars, studdebakers, you name it. there was a 65 nova there that was just awesome. it had a big block 454 engine, shaved door handles
and an incredible silver paint job on it. it had been featured in some magazine, but i couldn't tell which mag it was. if your friends said the show they attended was at a church, then this was probably the same show.
