grrr having problems finding a program to convert these to mpgs.

I have yours idling jesse, it's mpg but it has some **** written in the middle of the screen because it was done with a trial version.

I JUST WANTED TO POST THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DYNOJET AND MUSTANG DYNO... I GOOGLED IT, MUSTANG DYNO SIMULATES LOAD AND DYNOJET DOESNT. 'NUFF SAID!

and the dynojet doesnt. i dont know how else to say it?

yeah travis, we know

the dyno jet gets hp at the rear wheels, but WITHOUT the friction and load of the tires against the road. The mustang dyno simulates that load and gives you a much more realistic number.

HOWEVER, most people are more familiar with a dyno jet, so those numbers seem more 'realistic' to them.

There IS a conversion factor for the mustang->dynojet somewhere.

anyways, i cant find any real good calculators, but all the math equations out thier always bring the power up 20hp so they suck too

maybe the dyno wasn properly set up before today?

i did find out though since mustang dyno puts loads on your cars, its better for tuning though.

 

lol yeah I'm going to just hold a gas can behind you & Del's exhaust and get enough gas for 3 cars haha

 

I believe it's a .18-.20 % difference.

So multiply your hp# x about 1.18 and you'll get a more pleasing # at the wheels.

 

heck no im strapping my own bucket to my exhaust!

even with that info inputed, it said i should be making 267 at the wheel!

thats my 3400 lbs car and 100mph trap.. which last time i raced back when i had TPI i always trapped 99mph.. so i just assumed 1 extra mph ?

 

Yeah I've used most of those calculators before, they all pretty much agree I should have about 250 to the wheels.
