A question or 2 about tint

i posted this over on the autodetailing forum but got no replies so far so, i hope you all can help me here

I got the rear defroster, and my experance with tint on the defroster grids aint that great, my geo prism had tint on the windows, and the tint on rear window with the defroster grid started was bubbling and over all look bad, my question is, if i get this car tinted how long would it before i start experanceing the bubbling if ever(ie it was a dealer install gone wrong)? and is their a way to not get the bubbling? thanks for reading!

Don't go to a cheap place.
Most reputable shops offer warranties and quality tint.

its not liek it happens right away, especially with a quality job, it will be many years before it bubbles.

you could always invest in a car cover like myself.

i applied at kragen once.. but when i went in for my interview the dude was a dousche so I just started working for my parents in their shop.

Now I work 2-3 days a week and make $800-$1000 free and clear. lol. Only a little while longer until all the MAINTENANCE is done on my fricken car and I can finally make her fast and pretty. Right now she's slow and has rock chips on her hood

And yeah, I've lended many a quote to people's signatures

thats cool. make sure you get one prefit for your car, and not one of the generic ones. generic ones blow, might as well use a damn tarp.

it's worth it, imo, especially if you take the time to detail your car often.

Yeah chipping clear coat can be a pain in the ***. I just have chips where **** has hit my hood over the years.

The engine will be done before the hood though.. can anyone say LE3 LT1 putting 410 to the ground

Or if I have to smog it.. LE1 LT1 putting 375 to the ground

I love when im washing the car, and new spots start chipping from where the hose is pointing.... And im on the softest setting.. perhaps its time for a powerwash and primer

might be your best bet, then you're all set for a paint job!

5% is extremely dark, id try to get it all around.

I just primer closest to whatever it's being repainted. I'd primer yours grey, but it doesnt really matter.

Side window tint is illegal in CA.
I wouldn't make it very dark on there if you're going to tint there.
