Sweet.
I'll probably try to go to one of the nicer shops in town to make sure it's done right.
I'm a bit hesitant to do the color thing, but I really like this bird combo.
Pontiac pride baby.

yeah, i prefer that bird outline the most.
you gotta have color with these designs.
hopefully they can make it just like the pic, doesn't seem too intricate.
nice, i'll add that group.

they'll be able to do it very close to that pic if they're any good.

2 1/2 hours for all that on your back eh? not bad. It took them 2 hours for the band on my arm and it's alot smaller

My Space... that's a strange subculture. Not even a really good friendster-type thing. Still, I'm oddly drawn to it. Lots of hot chicks with minimal clothing.

There's a club for you addicts in Sacramento!

http://www.capitalcityfirebirds.com/

I'm a founding member. Check out my third gen Formula build-up in the message board, you have to join the message board to look at it (just takes a minute). I raced a third gen 1984 Trans-Am for the past few years in the Camaro-Mustang Challenge and instruct at Thunderhill Raceway Park up near Willows. I presently have four Birds, two race cars; a 4th gen TA and a 3rd gen TA; one 3rd gen street car (Formula) and a 4th gen '97 TA street car.

Most of the members have fourth gens, two of us have 3rd gens, two have 1st gens and one has a second gen TA. The cars are immaculate and the club likes to go to car shows...we win trophies! A couple of the LS1 guys drag race. We do autox when it is around our area (lately not often). I got one member to come out to Thunderhill on an instruction day and they found themselves a new Disneyland!

We could use some more 3rd gens, that's for sure! C'mon and check us out, we'll have our 2006 schedule up soon.
Feel free to PM me for more info.

Good to see somebody from one of the local Firebird clubs post on here Julie Bergman.
I was already aware of your club and the other Trans Am club in town, but most of the members seem to be a bit older and not into 3rd gens so much anymore.
I'll check out the schedule though once it's up.
My old Firebird is actually posted on your site in that giant panoramic pic @ the car show.

Very cool Outatime! Ex, huh?:0 We have all ages in our club, a teenager, folks in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s.

Ya know, I just remembered we have another member with two third gens, a '89 30th anniversary turbo and a rare '84 (forget the story on that one). DOH!

Ex-girlfriends are what make the world go around (not)

I think that butchered up pic of the Camaro concept is garbage. Let GM actually come out with the Camaro and then maybe something even better will be in store for the Firebird.

But, OTOH, wasn't it Bob Lutz himself who said in an interview "Firebird's day is done."

That's great, because my first gen will keep growing in value

Those two cars that Julied mentioned above... I think I've got pics. At the Vacaville Pontiac show a couple years back, this car was a member of this club I believe:

It won the "D" class (all stock) and was truely a peach. That turbo makes me drool.

This car was there too and also a member (I think):

I'm thinking it's possible Julie and I at least exchanged glances at that event.

I'm sure we did! I was next to a nice first gen black 'Bird owned by a gal who is now our VP. Our member with those cars did not show up to that show...that 20th is owned by a member of Trans-Am club of America. Not sure about the second bird. Our member's non-20th is white like the 20th.

Whaaat? I was there to welcome you and said you could attend as my guest...you cannot join because you don't have a 'Bird. I don't think that is too harsh for a Firebird club!

As for the events schedule, we started posting them to the public message board and if you were to visit you would be invited to whatever events we had going on. We did alot of fun things in 2005, RPM karting, runs to Santa Cruz and the gold country, car shows, a parade and a lot more

It is lame to have that 2004 schedule up, I am hoping we can get that fixed sometime soon.

TraviZ, why don't you show up to a meeting and then we can go from there. Keep in touch with me and I'll let you know when that is, we are looking for a new meeting place right now and are presently planning our 2006 schedule. I don't know what our admin said, can't respond to that.

Those 2 cars you posted Mike belong to the other rival Trans Am club.
I have met and talked to both the owners, nice guys.
One of the members from this cap. city club left a note on my GTA one time telling me about their club.

Trav, quit hasslin' the lady eh.
What did the admin say tho out of curiosity?

Maybe you could also direct any of the 3rd gen members to our site here Julie, we have a good group of guys and gtg at the track and other assorted events.

"Traviz

Unfortunately this club only lets in Firebirds and TransAms in the club but don't be sad a couple of us meet up with the below club and had lots of fun.

check this web address out I believe you will like this better. they are open to all F-bodys and are a lot of fun.

TraviZ, we met at Carrows at Watt and I80 and they closed.
I'll let you guys know where our new meeting place is.

I'll definitely pass on the TGO info to our members!

Our mod seemed cordial and helpful. We gotta help all our F-bod friends get hooked up with the right club scene!
