The fender bender has not been fixed yet. Just waiting to get the car running and smoged. Then im taking it to the body shop. Maybe get the whole car painted again but for sure getting a new front body kit and little bit of decals on the hood (SS). Cant wait to show you Mike what it can do. You guys should see the wire that i have to sort out I will post a pic tomorrow.

You should of done the LSX swap instead of the 383.... But you will get better deals for the LS7 or LS2 since they will be all over the place. You can practice on my car with the heads and cam.LOL

There's no reason to do an LSx motor over a 383 Gen 1. He has more cubic inches and parts are cheaper. Not to mention the hassle of installing the damn thing, the wiring and all the special parts needed for installing it into a thirdgen.

When all is said and done a properly built SBC will stomp all over an LSx motor for the same amount of money it cost just to install the thing. An LS1 only puts down about 305 rwhp on average through an auto...

But it is cool to have one in there, i admit. looks like a clean install for sure, hope you like it

I think the best part about the project that you're doing is when someone asks you what you have under the hood, and you say "LS1"! It would put a smile and suprise on their face, something that's hard to get with these cars it seems with their bad reputation.

I agree with the 383 build, cheaper, But just like Cali Z said, to say that i have an LS1 motor in the car is going to be fun!! Right now im routing the wire in the engine bay. Not has hard as i thought, just takes time. I should it have it turned on this weekend. But still need to wrap things up on it. Im going to try to video tape it when i do. First start up. Here is a pic of some of the wire

Joey... tell me your brakes will be upgraded soon.

It would suck to have 300 HP to the rear wheels and only 200 horsepower worth of stopping power on the fronts. Know what I mean?

It took me about a good 2years on research on the LS1 swap. I ordered all the parts i would need to get that thing in there. All from sphons...Great place

Mike: Of course man!! LOL Here is a pic of what i got.

The wire part is about done. I just ordered the VATS on ebay 29.00 shiped. Way cheaper then Hawks. I also need to order HPTuners.
