Why is everyone tripin off the paint issue so much...? Who the hel* cares when and where and how much. Travis is doing the right things in the right order. Engine, suspension, inside, etc. comes first before you paint so you don't mess everything up. Only reason he got the hood now was because the deal was to good to pass up on.

Nobody's questioning the order of his operations.
I know I won't be painting till I'm thoroughly satisfied w/everything else.

With shipping it was right around $460
And Del , sorry, forgot to respond, for the paint, it will be the final touch before driving it. Not entirely sure where / how it is going to be painted. I should have the car drivable by feb/march, and have something broke by march/april lol. That's when the car will be painted. I am still debating paying to have it done either through maaco or earl schieb, or doing it myself, or having a friend do it. We will see when the time comes. It is staying red however.

Yeah, Travis, that looks good. Tasteful but not too much. I can't wait till this thing is painted.
