Anyone tried some of these Mods?

Yep, we have all seen that info, and 90% of us will tell you that building a 350 is a much better idea than building a 305. Don't listen to the other 10%.

Oh sorry I am still new didn't know its been passed around. I think a 350 would be a better choice to but I would like to keep my original motor in it.

I wouldn't recommend you build a 305, but if you have a good running one mod it. Exhaust, cams, rockers, intake, etc. Basic bolt ons can be reused in/on a 350 if the 305 dies.
