so im removing my engine from my IROC it has a t56 in there everything is removed the engine mount bolts, bellhousing bolts that connect to the back of the engine i jack it up with the hoist but seems like something is stuck doesn't let it move i thought the clutch and flywheel would slide out easily doesn't it?? or is there something im missing??? help any one thx...

is it the clutch fork?

well since the clutch is attached to the flywheel your going to have to pull the engine forward first to get the clutch off of the spline of the transmission. otherwise it is just going to bind. When I pull my motor (it is automatic though) I pull the tranny first. it seems easier to me.

It is probably just binding. may have to jack transmission up a little to keep the angle good with the engine so you can clear the engine mounts to pull the motor forward

everything is cleared though i just a bitch to remove bro thanks for the info/help.
