It's time all of us 3rd Gen Kansas owners get to know each other. There are so few of us compared to other parts of the country we need to build a network of owners. Finding parts, help with problems, or just to show off the cars we love to others who appreciate them. Cars of all condition are welcome. Mine is a driver. Its in great shape but not perfect.

I've waited around for someone else to do it, but if no one else wants to I will.

We obviously wont be meeting until things warm up and we can get our cars on the road. I would like to set it up for at least once a month throughout summer. We can trade off "Hosting". I don't mind traveling to Topeka, Wichita or other parts of the state. We have plenty of time to plan a first meeting. I'm going to propose Sunday May 1st in Overland Park. I do not have a place set, but will come up with one in the future.

Right now I just want to see who would be interested. We can use this thread to communicate and plan future events.

 

Mine will be down for a few upgrades this spring hopefully. Until those are done and tested I don't really want to drive too far on the ET streets on the back heh.

 

Not a problem. Come anyway with a non 3rd Gen and meet. Pick a month and we can come to you. Like I said we can trade off who hosts. The point is to get it started. If enough of us are interested, we can make this a monthly thing. I just think it would be fun to get as many of us together as we can. How else will we get the chance to see so many of our cars in one place without traveling halfway across the country to one of the bigger events.

 

I agree!! Been wanting to get a Third gen group of guys and gals together in the Topeka area to go to cruise nights as well as have get togethers and talk shop. You got my vote! I should be ready by May to get my Camaro out on the road.

 

 

I may have to change the date. I might not have enough time to put together a location. I will be gone for a while in April. I will know more when I return but could be latter in May.

 

I could likely be available for any weekend in May or June, provided I'm not out of town for band gigs.
