New member from Pueblo Colorado
Hello everyone, I am new to the forums and wanted to introduce myself.
I live in Pueblo Colorado, moved here from Kansas City Missouri back in 2012.
I own a 1988 IROC that I just purchased. It has a big block 454 making about 550 HP with 9.3:1 compression a Holley 780 Vac Sec and hydraulic cam, TCI TH350 2800 RPM stall (I know, want to swap a 4L80e in the future). 4.11 gears. Cage. Line Lock. Lots of little stuff done but lots left to do. I hope to learn a lot here and share my builds as I modify the car. As it stands now it can run high 10's. It is street legal and I want to keep it that way. Absolutely no money was spent on making the engine shiny, lol stock valve covers, old water neck from a corvette (has the air bleed). The rear end was lowered 2.5 inches. Obviously with the big block the springs were changed out. It has headers, I think for a corvette? They clear by 1/4 inch. 38 amp alternator. Fan clutch. Fiberglass hood. I am forgetting a lot I am sure. Supposedly only 5 passes on the build and no street driving. I think I got a pretty good deal for $6700, time will tell.
I want to do the following to it as funds permit, hopefully over the winter:
Maybe down the road a shot of nitrous or a little boost but for what I wanna do a power adder is probably the last thing I need to worry about.
I will get some pics uploaded soon. Still waiting on the car to be delivered.

- 4L80E with Trans Brake
- 9 Inch Rear End with Disc Brakes
- Fuel Injection
- MSD Ignition with Two Step
