UGH...what a crappy *** week...

FIRST...my trans died,i just rebuilt it,had maybe 200 miles on it...

then i went to meet jeremy {3.8transam} had a good time,bs'd for a few hours,pickedup a motor from him

this past sunday i went to go fishing in cedar lake with my buddy and his fiance.he hasnt ridden in the truck WOT with the supercharger,so i gave him a show

i stalled it up to 3k at the light and let it go on the green,ran it HARD through first and second,shut down at around 85 mph,and like a freaking dumbass i completely let off the gas,i was letting it jsut coast to slow it down,all of a sudden it started billowing white smoke out of the exhaust,i blew BOTH headgaskets.

antifreeze just poors out of the exhaust,i started tearing it down tonight,all i have left to do is get the heads off,it got too cold and i came in....ill report back in a little bit with what actually happeend..


as a side note,if ANYBODY knows of a good running 5.2 liter 318,or 5.9 liter 360...let me know ASAP,needs to be from a 94-01 pickup,id prefer a later model with low miles...but whatever i can find. thanks guys.....who wants to have a meetup to fix my truck? haha

 

Dump that 307 in there :-) lol

Try I-80 auto parts in Gary, think its off of Burr. They usually have running trustworthy engines in stock for a decent price and can usually tell you miles and the like.

This was a while ago but had good luck at the time.
