haven't posted in a while

Well i figured since i haven't posted in a while i would see how everyone is doing. Jay almost has my car finished up and i'll have it back in the garage in probably 2 weeks or so. Then i can get working on a motor swap for next spring. Still have to install a steering wheel quick disconnect to make getting in and out easier over that cage. Other than that, i can't wait to see the car all one color, and a sweet looking blue at that.

Hey Steve, I stopped by Jay's a couple weeks ago and I really like the color you picked.

I haven't been around much either- just doing a lot of house stuff. This weekend I'm cleaning out the garage and putting a bunch of crap on eBay so I can buy a Moser rearend soon.

Make sure you post pics once it's painted.

Hey Firebird 383, I love that blue!! So much more vibrant than mine!!
I've been too busy to post as well. Pulling my hair out with fitment issues. It will probably be snowing before the work is complete!

If thats a headbolt to spring clearance try investigating some of the comp stuff.

They make aka reverse honeycomb style with smaller bottoms than tops, like th sort u would use on a vortec head.

I run these on my vortec heads and they may give u the room to make everything work out ok

Just a thouhgt.

Pic aint the best but I am assuming that is what u mean?

later

I don't want to hijack someone's thread, but fitment problem was solved by grinding flat spots on head bolt washers and clearancing the 12 point bolt head per the head manufacturer's advice. I'm now fitting other things. Thanks for the advice.
