I had the engine turned over while painting it and had the pan just sitting on it to cover the internals. Cylinders were taped off and timing cover was on. I have to go through with laquer thinner and clean up a few areas.

Yeah you painted the snout of the crank. I would have taken a little more time to mask it. Paint going into the timing cover only to chip off in your oil later. And on the front seal don't know how good that is. It looks good though nice job.Originally Posted by xpndbl3

looks nice.....i was going to paint my engine orange originally but everyone else seems to be orange, so i went with house paint blue

Did you have a fuel pressure regulator on your car? I need one, I still have the EFI fuel pump and need a regulator to tone the pressure down.
