GLD now requires you to drag race with your T-Tops out

Safety reasons and sum such via NHRA, anyone else heard this?

So a question is this then.

If I have to race with my T-Tops out, does that mean I still have to race with my windows up? Reasoning they want that is to keep your hands inside the car if you roll over.......

Except that it invalidates the Windows Up rule to keep your arms inside the car in case of an accident.

So its either T-tops up and windows down, or you are concerned about passenger safety and won't let T-tops run at all.

Never understood that.

In the case of a roll over the windows are going to shatter anyways, so your arms are going to flap around no matter what.

Better to just actually TECH the T-tops are secured.

I've put a car into a tree and one T-top flew off.

Thing was intact even after I got out picked it up and threw it back into the air in disgust.

Sold the set off actually :-)
