For anyone coming from up North THRU Chicago
I know we already have a caravan post Denny, but just trying to steam line it a bit. Hey if you could make it a stick I appreciate it
Anywho, some of you folks have expressed interest in coming thru Chicago on the way down. For those of you that have a long drive, don't know the way, or will want a break from driving I am offering up my house (with the owners, aka parents, permission). I am leaving as well as a buddy of mine from my house. I live right by where 90 and 94 come together on the NW side of Chicago.
For those that would rather go around and pay the tolls, I don't live that far north, HOWEVER, if enough people want to avoid the construction on the Dan Ryan (90/94) we can go to the toll way, I don't live that far from it, OR take some main streets until we are far enough south of the construction.
Traffic will stink if we take the Ryan, but when the Ryan and toll way meet up we will be wait in some messy traffic (I do know away around, but it depends on the size of the group, easy to get lost, or I will print directions). I have been to Denny's many times and know the way by heart (no getting lost here).
SO if anyone want to use my house as a stop, chime in and let me know when you are coming down and which way, or PM me for any more info you may want. Let me know!!!
See you at the FEST,
Mike

I am not sure, I want to be cruising around 10ish, maybe earlier. If all goes well I will take the Dan Ryan and meet up with you. I take it you are taking the toll way or will you just be in Oak Lawn by chance?? Either way we can work something out to meet up. If my stall and trans doesn't like long e-way runs I might cruise down Harlem to avoid winding the motor and trans out and run the risk of breaking something. But keep me posted as to where you want to meet up!!

Mike,
I'll keep you posted here...I may be in Oak Lawn because we're having a garage sale at my girlfriend's parents' house. If I go from the city...I'll just drive north-west to your place and roll from there. Otherwise I will leave from Oak Lawn and see if we can meet up.
It's all good,
Adam

Steve,
You may be able to hit a couple different caravans if I don't get mine done in time (one with your car on the trailer and one with mine).

haha nice kevin, sounds like fun times for sure. if that's the case i'll probably grab your car the night before and bring it back to my house to sit in the driveway, that way i'm not driving 5 hours the day of the fest all around
we'll see as it gets closer, i guess all the trailer haters can't say much if they break down and need tows from me, hope they bring their wallets though lol.
