The $35/$45 (per car) fee is required to get in whether you have a car or not.

usually people just pile into vehicles with other people that have thirdgens and show up. Although in the past people have shown up and paid the money, and been entered into the drawing and won as well without having a thirdgen present.

The registration fee has very little to do with having a car in the show. The cost of trophies is nothing compared to the food, raffle prizes, and giveaways. When you register, you get admission to both days with all you can eat and drink, Thirdgen Fest giveaways, and entry into the raffle. Charging the registration fee for all cars also discourages non-thirdgens from coming which leaves more parking available for thirdgens.

I've just bought a 88' GTA and would love to come to Thirdgen fest. Have I missed the cut off? You you turn up and pay with cash?

Yes, you can show up and register the day of the party for $45. There's a lot of people who do it that way.

Hi,
I just saw this, and wondering if anyone is crusing up from North Carolina. I would like to be there, but according to Mapquest, its an 14 hour drive. I think my car would be a good to show off. Except for the fact the body guy mess up my new hood and didn't hang the pass- side door correctly, Still has me pissed off at him. Please go to VB Garage to see my Bird.
