that'd be cool, maybe if we bargin they can give the TGO people a discount, considering they will be making alot of business if 100 people decide to spend the night

I'd rather camp too but with the wife along, it's a definite hotel stay.

Hopefully Mark sees this.

I'm gonna be calling some places in the area this week and see what kind of deals, if any, we can get.

1-19-03, 5 PM:

Right now, I have contacted Hampton Inn and Days Inn in the Frederick area. I'll see what I can get us, but I NEED to have a count of who will be needing rooms.

CHIME IN PEOPLE!!! If you need a room, let me know!!

PS: Anyone who lives in the area, (Mark), contact me with the names of hotels in the area...ones we've heard of and aren't afraid to sleep in...and I'll contact a few to get the rooms we need.

Ok people, I've got rooms available but I need a DEFINITE room count when I start setting aside rooms.

I've got 30 rooms in Frederick Days Inn, rates as follows:

Location: Frederick, MD Days Inn Site 06450
Rates: 1-2Adults/$65, 3Adults/$70, 4Adults/$75 plus tax
Rooms: 30 rooms
Guarantee: Deposit equal 1st night's stay plus tax due 30 days prior to
arrival
Cancel policy: 14 days prior to arrival by 4:00 pm
Rooming list: Due 14 days prior to arrival.

Hampton Inn, Hagerstown, MD.

I've got 30 rooms, rates as follows:

"..you requested 10 single and 20 doubles. _Your group rate would be $66.00 plus tax."

First, I need a head count. Then, if you want a room, I will need deposits. I will take care of the room BS but I won't do it with no $$$$.

Let me know!!!!

Ed

I'd like to camp, but the lady friend is tagging along, so it will definitely be a hotel stay .

So the answer is YES, myself, the lady and a buddy. That makes 3 ppl for me.

are the rooms big enough to get my 'bird inside?

I'm hear, I will need a room for two, and possibly a total of 4 if my uncle and cousin can make it too. He has his own 89 formula 350. ^_^ I'm gonna call him this week to finalize it.

UPDATE!!

I have 90 rooms reserved in the area..2 hotels in Frederick and one just outside. Rooms will have 1 or 2 beds and range from about $65-80 per night, depending on where you stay. Rooms will sleep 1-4 people depending on how many Hooters girls you fit in them. (Joke here, no offense to the ladies! )

Look for a sticky with all the info, telephone numbers and addresses in the dext day or 2.

Ed
