What do I need for the track?(tech inspection)
Going to the track with some buddies next month at the test n tune. I expect to run 12's, so what will I need other than driveshaft loop? Thanks

It's really going to depend on the track and event that you goto. I would call them up.
You should expect to need:
1. Seat Belts
2. Helmet (13.99 and under)
3. Battery Holddown
4. Coolant Overflow Tank
5. Driveshaft Saftey Loop (w/ slicks)
6. Exhaust exit behind drivers door
Some "Street" classes require other things
Glass windows
Liscense plate
Working lights
Mufflers
I'm not sure when a roll cage comes into effect.

Tracks vary slightly but all follow roughly the same guidelines. Since you have a street car and will only be in the 12's all you'll need is helmet (proper Snell rating), factory seat belts, driveshaft loop. The car must pass a tech inspection to make sure it's safe.

When in doubt, buy a rulebook.
