Was at e-town last night and happy with my time!

Last night I went to the track with my 88 TBI camaro for the first time in that car. I really wanted to see what the car is going to run before I take that engine out and put my old 350 in there. The 88 has 113,000 miles on the engine, a metal banging metal comming from the bottom end on the passanger side, a old k&n filter, and a even older Mac exhaust. Here is my best run of the night.

Temp: 85
Humidity: 63
Barometer: 29.15

R/T: .995
60': 2.572
330: 7.316
1/8: 11.188
Mph: 63.86
1000: 14.494
1/4: 17.289
Mph: 81.00

That was my best et time slip. My best 60' of the night was 2.437, my best Mph was 81.41, and my best R/T was 6.854. I am extreamly happy with these times considering how the car runs and the condition of the motor. What does everyone think? Next week the 86 come back and the 22 of June I'm going to mustang vs f-body and running. hoping for 11's with the NOS High 12's on motor

Bwahahahahahahaha
OMG, my 91 tercel (stock) ran a time similar to that and burns more oil than I can put in and has 170k on the clock. Bwahahahahahahaha
You're going to run 11s in 2 weeks and all you could muster out of that car was 17s? Good luck

Dude,
I don't mean to pile on but, I used to run a 72 Pinto at Milan Dragway, and it would run 16.5' s all night long.
Pop that motor out and put in the 350

not to be a dick or anything but read the post. I have 2 camaros, a 86 which will run 11's ( getting it back by the end of next week) and a 350 is going in the 88. The car is POS and on its last leg the car knocks like there is no tomorrow I was hoping it would of blew the Fuct up last night but no luck. Just read the post next time.
