to convert or not to convert

....I am cutting consistent 1.6 60 foot times on my stock converter and 3.23 rear end....my best E.T so far has been an 11.72@112 mph. Should my next mod be a converter? WIll it help bring my E/T's down much? I think I'm pretty much maxed out with my set-up any way I slice it...mods in sig ohh, what about different gears? I want to go 11.50's or better with this next mod
*edit*..I run Hoosier slicks at the track and dead hook on the bottle (150 shot) straight out of the hole.

Get a 3000-4000 stall converter. It must be able to handle NOS.

I agree,
A converter in the 3000 stall range would do wonders for you. Remember that a converter does more than just help you leave the line, but also helps on shifts.

Buy a quality converter, its money well spent.

I COMPLETELY disagree with burnoutrpm.

I run a 3000 stall on my daily driver without a single problem. If you are still running a 700r4 you can buy a converter with lockup, so above 40mph it will behave exactly like stock.

My car still creeps forward when I take my foot off the brake from a stop.

Dont be scared of the stall!
