What is the best way to tie down a thirdgen for trailering to a track. If you can say how manys straps and what lengths etc.

 

The way I tie mine down is this, up front under the car by the radiator support there is an oval shaped hole- I take a 2" 10,000lbs strap from the right side of the car to the felt side of the trailer, then do just the opposite for the other side, out back I have alxe straps I wrap near the pumpkin and then do the strap criss cross again. You want the straps running diaginal so it pulls against itself in a sence, I used to run a repair shop for a trucking company and that's where I learned the "trick" to tieing down loads.

 

Lots of bungie cords.

 

Bungees do work better than kite string, they give a little instead of just snapping.
