I was wondering what to get next. I was thinking about about some 3.42 gears. I have the sompleat rearend out back to swap out of a v6 firebird. Also maybe a 2000 stall. I am thinking about looseing some weight. What weight can I loose and stay on the street (like not the sway bar or lexon glass)? Traction is no problem. I was also thinking about a holly carb. I might go get a Mr. Gasket Street Scoop for looks and to pull more air. Anyone know how much this will run? Its either that or a cowl! Shiftkit is also in the future if its not to hard to do.

Money is very tight so low dollar mods would be nice! Any other ideas post them or e-mail me!

That V6 rear you have probably isn't posi. Traction will be a problem. Getting converted to posi is probably going to run you at least $350 (the price of a PowerTrax, or a used posi carrier and labor for setup, etc.).

What's the duration of your cam? You probably need more stall.

The intake manifold and carb are probably not well matched with your cam. A 650 or 750 Holley DP with a higher stall converter may wake things up.

What distributor are you running?

I don't see low dollar in your future.
