Aluminum heads should keep the detonation down when using premium pump gas. A well polished combustion chamber is a big plus in that regard.
There's theory, and there's reality. Taking a stab at answering the original question is theory (let's say high-12's for grins), taking it to the track is cold, harsh reality (when it actually struggles to get into the 13's).
