look at my signature...what do you all think i might run with this motor setup and upgraded suspension and slicks????

I think you're going to have a lot of detonation and might run high 13's

how would he get detination? couldnt he hep with using like a high octane race gas and retarding the timming or is it becuz of the high comp.

He never mentioned anything like that. He wanted a guess from what he has in his sig. A guess is just that, a guess. If you want to know what it will really run then take it to the track.

Aluminum heads should keep the detonation down when using premium pump gas. A well polished combustion chamber is a big plus in that regard.

There's theory, and there's reality. Taking a stab at answering the original question is theory (let's say high-12's for grins), taking it to the track is cold, harsh reality (when it actually struggles to get into the 13's).
