Hypathetically speaking, if a car ran 11.7 @ 124 mph with a 60-ft of 2.2, what (estimated time) do you think it will run with launching harder with slicks with a 1.6 60-ft time. this hypathetical car is going to the track on sunday, but just curious on what you people think it will run.

 

If .6 is shaven off of the 60 ft time, theoretically, the ET should be .6 quicker. So I would guess 11.1 with no change to the trap speed.

 

i was told the other day...(dont quote me on this)... that every tenth u take off on ur 60ft ur total 1/4 mile will be 2 tenths faster...... not sure if this is toatlly true but thats what some one told me...

 

its alittle more like a tenth and a half i think.


either way if u drop .6 in the 60 foot running 11.7's before you should hit high 10's.
