Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
Jack up one wheel and install a torque wrench onto one of the wheel nuts. See how much torque it takes until the wheel turns. A posi isn't a locked diff so a specific amount of torque is required to overcome the cluches in the posi. If the amount is too low then it's worn out.

the posi could be worn out with less then 250-300 miles? if so fudge but ill get my torque wrench from work and try it this week some time to see if its still good. thanx stephen
