Over the summer around the beginning of may I went to Darlington to the SCFYB event. I made a bunch of runs and video taped them all. I finally got em on my computer and now have one up on my friends server. This run was at 5:00pm and the temperature on the track that day was 105! My first runs were made around 1:00 (netting 13.9 at 99) to finally getting into triple digits. I'm sure the car would have done better if The temp wasn't so high. Anyway some of you may know that I blew the motor up coming back from the nationals . I'm currently putting a vortec headed 355 together right now. I'll definitely have more vids coming especially once the car is up and running again.

You need quicktime to see this. If you don't have it, its free on apple.com

The 13.9 at 100mph run!!

Thats a good run. Is it just me or is it taking a long time to shift? I may be hearing something different though.

Yeah, it sounds like the 1-2 shift is very soft, or taking too long.

Otherwise, nice sound on the car. And a 13.9 @ 100mph sounds good to me.

Yeah my 1-2 shift takes exactly 2 seconds. My friend and I timed it in premier last night. Pretty sorry huh!? I'm thinking thats costing me at least a few 10ths if not a half sec. That and the +100 degree weather and the arcing plug wire, oh yeah, and the disgusting 10*1 paper air filter that was on there.

My new setup (in sig) should yield low 13s, or at least thats what I hope. Guess we'll see once its running again. Just need a cheap engine stand if anyone knows where I can get one.
