Launching with Nitrous

I just got a N20 kit for my firebird. I've never used it before and I just need to know how i can launch with it? I was thinking I shouldn't hit it till im like in 2nd gear or something. I have a hard time getting traction now without it. I'm gonna start out with just a 50 shot and eventually I wanna try a 100 shot. So what do you guys think? Also, any guess's on what I'll run with the setup in the sig with the 100 shot and 3.73's?

I usually hit mine at 3,000 in the top of first, but if your traction is limited already you may need some additions to take the hit. A converter is a great start, and some suspension mods. Mines an 87 also with a 150 shot and a decent amount of rearend tuning. Best 60ft on 28X10.5 15 ET streets 1.58.

On street tires it's a second gear only after 3,000 rpms, anything below is very dangerous without a nitrous cam.

I had a 120 shot, and did exactly what was said above, top end of first gear...
