M/T makes the folowing ET Streets for 16" rim
26x10.50-16
26x11.50-16
27x10.50-16
28x11.50-16
28x12.50-16
I run the 26x11.5-16 on stock 16x8 GTA wheels, dont go by the size designation on the tire. The 26x11.5-16 is not 11.5 inches wide, the tread width is only 9.7 inches and fits well on a 16x8 rim. I think all of those tires will fit on a stock rim and hope to try out the 28x11.5-16 and 28x12.5-16 this year on stock rims to see how they fit, the 28x12.5-16 tread width is only 10.0 inches(0.3 inches wider that the tire I run now).
Hoosier makes 3 Quick Time Pros in 16" size:
26x9.5-16
28x11.5-16
28x14.5-16(this one wont fit our cars and was designed for the gen 2 Lightning)
Hoosier also makes a full slick that I've run before and its an excellent tire. It's avalible in a 28x10-16 only.
Those are all the 16" slick and DOT slicks that I know of that are within useable sizes(I left our the really big ones).

Steve

I agree 100% on that but his question was what sizes fit so I figured I'd list those that I know of.Originally posted by 88 IROC BOB

Thanks for all the info, I'll have to pick from one of those. One more question though, how do you read the sizes on those tires? Is the first number the height, then width, and then rim?
DOT and Slicks use a different numbering system.
26 x 10.5 x 15 on both tires isn't the same.
Both are 26" tall. You need to check the actual tire spec for true height since the height on the tire isn't always exact.
The DOT tire is 10.5" wide across the section of the tire (bulge). Again to see what the actual tread width is you need to look at the tire specs. A slick will be 10.5" wide across the tread. This can be a problem since the bulge of the tire is even wider. Tire specs will tell you just how wide.
Both fit on a 15" rim
Tire specs can be found on the tire web sites.

Metric numbers are a little different.
235/60R15
235 is millimeters across the section
60 is the aspect ratio (how wide the tire is from the rim to the tread in relation to the section width)
R means radial construction
15 inch rim.
You can calculate the tire height of a metric tire. width x ratio / 2540 x 2 + rim size.
235 x 60 / 2540 x 2 + 15 = 26.1" tall.
