I made it into IHRA's Digger magazine, Drag Review. It's not an accomplishment but it's still a mention.

Sept 2 issue. 2005 Summit SuperSeries championship points

Race City motorsports park, Box class. Last position There were only 5 of us in Box who were also IHRA members to qualify.

I won a round then hurt a main bearing and couldn't make the next round. I've been racing my truck the rest of the season and can't collect points of any kind in Street ET.

I suppose I could have raced the truck in Box. Dial in the minimum dial of something like 13.99. The truck runs 15.0's. I would have lost each round but would have made points for a first round loss. Hey, you never know, my opponents would all be launching after I do and there's always a possibility that they'll red light after having to wait so long and give me the win.

In NO Box class we have 19 members with points. Our #1 qualifier made enough points to be a wildcard to race in the championship final.
