back space???

back space???

I have a friend with a 2002 z-28, he's buying Weld Pro Stars, need B/S for rears, rim is a 15 x 10 w/ 7.5" bs sound right. i have 5.5"bs on 3rd.gen., but i'v been told that about 4th gen. cars. i have tires (new) for him backs are 26 x 10.5 x15 MT- Pro sportsmans, i need info fast!!! someone stole his wheels off the car and its on block in my garage now. it sounds racing related to me.

i believe the fourth gen guys are running 6.5"-7.5" of backspacing, though you may need to ask on some ls1 boards for the correct info on that one.

He will need to do some grinding on his calipers to get them to work, I had a friend who did the swap on his 98 Z28. I almost want to say he had like 7" of backspacing on an 8" wheel, they look like front wheel drive wheels as they have NO dish to them.
