Hi guys
i dont no if this is the right place for this but here it goes.
im trying to finsh up my car and im trying to find a fuel cell that will fit in the back of these cars its kind of a weird place. has anyone found any that will work? and if you had a picture that would be great.

i take it not many people use fuel cells in there race cars huh, i have been thinking of just usen a -8an fitting on the bottem of the factory tank. but i would rather run a cell.

It's an awkaward spot with the panhard bar and all. Best one I found to fit was a 10 gallon Jaz rectangular cell. Made my own straps out of some aluminum bar stock. Don't ask me for a part number, the customer brought it to me.

Transmission: Oldani TH400 w/ BTE 9" convertor
Axle/Gears: 31 spline Moser/full spool/4.11Rich
if it's track only then you can make anything work and i'd recommend mounting up under the hood for ease of installation and very short fuel lines.
If this is a street/strip car, save the added headached of fabrication and just sump your factory tank. Quick/easy and it works, best part is no fabrication to mount it, and no gas smell on the interior when I fill up.

I just installed a -8 bulk head fitting on the top of the tank. It's pretty close by to the fuel ring so you could get a hand in there and a wrench on the inside nut-had to call in a smaller buddy of mine since my hand was too large
