going to the track tonight!

heres the story, last week at the track the car was running consistent 13.6's and 13.5 @ 101mph with anywhere from a 2.0-2.1 60ft. I "think" the car is running pretty good...no off idle stumble or hesitation period, the nitto dr's could stand to grip a little more though. What I want is to improve the 60ft time and gain 1 or 2mph, any suggestions? The carb is a 750dp with 68 in the pri. and 78 in the sec.(no power valve), 31 shooters in front, 35 in rear. I'm also running an edge 9.5" 3000rpm stall. So would you jet the carb up till performance falls off or leave it alone for now and work on the 60ft and mph...or if I decide to play with jets, should I jet up the front and rear or just the rear for WOT? suggestions welcome!

P.S- its probably gonna be about 55* at the track this evening. If you guys need more info on the engine specs i'll post it.

what do the plugs looks like after a run, assuming you shut it off just crossing the finish line, then coast to the return road where you can pull a plug. If they look white, then jet up. Sometime fatter = faster, but not always. A 2.0 60' could be done on street tires easily, so i'd try playing with tire pressures as well, remember only to change one thing per pass so you know which helped in 60' time or MPH.

last week when I ran, the plugs looked perfect...a deep brown tan color so thats why i'm kinda iffy about screwing with the jetting because it seems to be dead on. So i'm guessing i'll just play with tire pressures and launch techniques and see where those take me.

I would not touch anything, until the car can consistantly hook. Then you can play with shift points, jetting etc.
