getting ready for the track

getting ready for the track

ok next friday ill be raceing at are local track.I always race in the street legal class.Ill be using my 260 10.5 16 et street dot rated slicks.i usely run 16psi.i was test and tuneing and she doing great things @ 25 psi . i was just wonder if theres a better preesure level to run.

air psi is literally an area each car will want different things since there are too many variables to take into account....one size does not fit all. Your doing it right experimenting, so just give it a shot with what you have, and go from there....but once eliminations start, dont change a thing from your last TT.

im thinking18-20 is these tires sweet spot ill have 2 hours of free runs till elmintions start that = about 18 races on a good nght. should have it down long before then.thinking.thanks for the help.

18 races in 2 hours!! you muc be hot lappin the shiz out of that thing! i guess if its consistant than good deal, but i would think 3-5 races should be plenty to get an idea of how the car will run that night, unless you're dialing in the car for the first time

nothing like that.ill have it down within 5 races and yes we hot lap allot . i do it right big ol tranny cooler and what not.
