Bypass or Not to bypass...Regulator question!
Ok so im making my list so i can order the parts for my Fuel system so far this is what i have come up with.
-10 AN braided lines from tank to inline filter and an Aeromotive A1000
From the A1000 it goes to 1/2" hard lines up to the front. Then theres another -8AN inline filter, Then -8AN braided lines to the regulator, here's where my question is.
Im running a 950 HP Holley, im not sure if i should run a return system or not. I will still drive the car on the street, but not a whole lot as it has a pretty big cam and stall and will be on QTP's ALL the time. I have a regulator im looking at :

Or if i dont go to bypass style, i will most likely go with this one.

IF i run return style it will be 1/2" back to the tank. Just looking to get opinions on what you guys are doing for fuel systems Thanks

neither link works, how about part numbers instead? Also, you should always go return style if you can, easier on the pump and cooler fuel as well.

Re: Bypass or Not to bypass...Regulator question!
A deadhead regulator works for many situations but is hard on the pump. I use a bypass regulator myself. It allows the pump to work at maximum speed and provides as much fuel as possible to the regulator. What the carb(s) don't need gets returned to the fuel tank. This provides a constant flow of cool fuel.
My fuel cell is up front beside the fuel pump and filter. #10 from the tank to the pump. #8 (1/2") to the regulator. #6 (3/8") return to the tank.
