Another new best!

The night started out really crappy with a 12.91 at 99 mph the engine was poppin and banging through the exhaust really bad. Next run was cleaner and ran a 12.29 @ 111. Did a jet change and ran 11.98 @ 114.72, a new best mph! Did another jet change and the car ran a new best ET of 11.87 @ 114.65 with a 1.68 60' I was really hoping for 11.80's tonight and I got there Going to start on getting a roll bar in the car Sunday afternoon since I want to use my nitrous again.

Edit: here's a video of the 11.87 run

Re: Another new best!

You did a jet change and lost MPH. Your ET gain wasn't from the jet change since you lost HP.

Re: Another new best!

Between the last two runs the jet change did help for the better because the engine ran smoother. There was a nasty little dip in RPMs at the gear changes on the 11.98 run which were pretty much gone on the 11.87 run. But yeah, I do realize that it slowed down in mph. Didn't have time to do another jet change back the other way to get that mph back.

Thanks all mighty baddest btw, there was a 60's Nova wagon at the track running a 434. Think it was running 10.40's and he got escorted off the track! or that's how it looked. He didn't seem very pleased leaving the gate.
