1/4 time?

I was just curious to what me car would run. It's still in pieces so I can't bring it to the track. My engine is a 406sbc with SRP high compression pistons, about 11:1 compression. 5.7" rods, forged crank, World Products motown 220 heads(cast iron), edelbrock performer rpm manifold with a 1" phenolic spacer and a holley 750 dp carb. The cam is a Lunati voodoo solid roller cam with .600/.600 lift, 255/263 dur @.050 and a 110LSA. I have a 3200 stall for the th700r-4 tranny, shift kit and a set of 3.73 gears. My dad and I built this combo so I was wondering what you guys think it will run?

Re: 1/4 time?

with good traction it may not run any time at all if your running a stock rear! Sounds like a nice package though!

Re: 1/4 time?

Thats a really nice setup. So with a bigger cam, and gears in my car with a 406 I should be somewhere around the times you are. I punched in the numbers and for your car it said about 569 flywheel hp and a 10.89 in the 1/4. So would it be rash to say I can pull off a 10.5 with my setup and good traction?

Re: 1/4 time?

only one way to find out. get it done and go to the track. i would say once you get everything dialed in and find out what kind of timing the car likes then you could do a 10.50. my car is set at 43 deg of timing. but my tab could be off.
