New best ET
Just got back from the track a bit ago with a new best ET. Freakin cooold up there at 52 degrees. Car ran a best of 11.83 @ 114.12 mph, 1.64 60 foot. Didn't beat my old best time by much but I did it twice tonight
Also got a .003 light, nearly had my second .000 light
Ran a friend of mine 3 times and of those 2, he was on the center line. The tires he's running just couldn't handle it anymore and the back end was all over the place. Neither of us broke so it was another good night. One guy however shut down the track for a good hour, he blew his engine up good and he drove it to the track. Saw him hooked up to a tow strap later on being pulled home.
Also finally got a chance to take an updated picture while at the track. Someone was taking pictures of the cars at the line so I'm hoping they'll be posted on the track website soon.

Congradulations on the new best time. I wanted to go race again in the cool weather but it rained the last few test n' tune sessions here so I never made it and now the track is closed for the year...the cool weather can make a big difference. I like the new color combination, looks great!

Re: New best ET
Thanks guys
Still need to finish wet sanding and buffing the doors and front fenders but haven't had the time. xpndbl3, I'm with you. Really happy that it's shiny again and not that dull gray color
It's been in the 1.6x range for the past few times out now. The tires are unloading though so there's a lower time in there somewhere. There's one more street night scheduled for the 17th so if the weather is good, I might go up again.

Re: New best ET
Eh, it's kinda been doing the same thing all year. The track prep is never really good since all the street cars go out there and basicly take the VHT off. Guess I could play with tire pressures too, been setting them at 13 psi.

Re: New best ET
nice video but your car is sooo small in the shot and it's dark out, doesn't really help. Sometimes the front comes down too hard and the rear unloads, could be a bunch of different things.
