Koni SPA1
I am looking for some 90/10 struts, but am unsure on how they will be on the road. My car is driven to the track and for some late night test and tunes. Will the adjustablity of Koni SPA1s help on the road? If not I am just going to buy Lakewoods. What do you guys think? I am also running spohns drag coil overs up front if that also factors in.

Re: Koni SPA1
Koni SPA1 and Lakewood 90/10 are a drag race only shock and are not recommended for street use. If you want a street/strip shock, get the Lakewood 70/30.

This car will more then likely be a drag only car in a year or two, and now I barely drive it on the street. So I really want the best drag strip performance, will 70/30s be that much different then 90/10s? Should I just put 90/10s on and bare the street driving to the track for now?

I'm running Koni SPA1's on my car and I drive it to the track. Just like any other drag suspension parts it makes your car handle worse but if you take corners slow you will be fine. I used to have 70/30 lakewoods, they are a good compromise but the 90/10's definately work a lot better at the track.

Re: Koni SPA1
I have driven my car 1000's of miles on the street over the years with koni spa1's and spohn drag race coil overs. It also has a spool and 3.5" wide front wheels. All of which are supposed to be for drag use only. I've never had any problems driving it like this. You just need to remember what your driving and be careful. It may not handle like it did stock but I still find my car to handle safely on the road.
