compression

Well since my trans blew up on me and messed the back of the block up i decided to go ahead and rebuild the motor. The last motor i had in it was ment for the street but never drove it so i just turned it in to a track car. But now i want to go all out and build a race motor for it i pick up a new 350 4 bolt block im probbly going to reuse my eagle crank and get some i beam rods. Im still using my dart 215cc platinum heads 64cc im sort of confused on geting the compression im going to need. Im hearing alot of bad things about geting compression with domed pistons. I know im going to need a preatty big cam to really use these heads to there potential. So i guess my question is what would be the safest way to get the compression im going to need. this is with race gas

Small combustion chamber would be the best, depending on what you want - flat tops with 58cc and zero deck should get you around 12.5, I did not do the math though. So you could angle mill the heads, but being your block will be getting deck surfaced I would hope, go zero with a thinner head gasket .038 or so should get you some good compression. But easiest would be the pistons.. Also adding bore size increases compression, and helps head flow. My 406 uses a dished piston and 58cc chambers to get 11.0 with zero deck and .039 gasket.
