my car runs a 15.30 bones stock..i wanna run a 14.80 /14.90

is there anything i can do?

like: 3.42s/slp runners

3.73/HSR( i like the best)

headers/intake


any kind of combo to make get into the high 14s

if you put a new set of headers and a 3 inch cat back you will probably hit your goal of 14.8 If you went with the hsr you would probably need bigger heads. And with that combo, it would get you into the 14's and with a cam you you go into 13.6's or lower.

 

you think some slp runners and 3.73s will get me there too?

 

Skip the gears & runners, get a stall converter and a set of headers. Much better gain.

with a $1000 budget you will only be able to get a full exhaust but that should do it. get some DRs and foot brake it

 

Something around 2500-2600 & 2.3 - 2.5 STR. Shop around, you can find a good converter that fits your budget. It will knock .3+ off alone even with the crap gears. Plus, it will be a lot more fun to drive, shift exstension of a good converter does amazing things for your ET's.
